Project Training
This project was a pilot to see if this approach to grassland management was possible, cost-effective, sustainable, and would benefit the local community and the biodiversity. Therefore training was an integral part of this work. In the three year period, DMLIG held approximately 26 formal training sessions with over 300 participants.
Our aim was to not only train our volunteers and the grass cutters within the project area but also to offer training to other organisations throughout the country who were interested in adopting their own Don’t Mow Let It Grow style of management.
